What
Does the Scrip Program Do?
CAPTURE FREE MONEY. Scrip
is “shopping cart fundraising.” All families can
generate revenue though purchases you would make anyway. Groceries,
clothing, toys, gifts, and even gasoline can be purchased
using Scrip. Raise money for your school by using your existing
household shopping budget!
HOW
DOES IT WORK? Your
PTC organization buys Scrip at a discount and resells the
certificates at full face value (Paper Scrip). The bulk of
the discount – from two to fifteen percent or more –
is retained by the PTC as revenue. Make every purchase count
for our schools by also registering or renewing your grocery
cards (Electronic Scrip). The PTC in turn helps to support
many school programs.
There
is no cost to sign
up. Parents, teachers, friends, and families are encouraged
to participate as supporters of our available
programs. Regardless of your income level, you can help
enhance your child’s educational experience without
spending an extra dime!

Because your participation is that important, we've
made it easier than ever to
contribute to your child’s educational experience.
Register
your credit card for Maidu/Excelsior PTC Scrip purchases
by providing your information in person with appropriate
identification. The Scrip Committee will hold office
hours on Order Due dates from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. in
Excelsior Room P4. We are also available by appointment.
For security purposes, your credit information will
not be recorded on school premises, but maintained in
a secure database operated by our third party credit
company, Elavon (formerly Nova Information Systems).

proceeds to our organization.
