President
	Elaine Arndt Elaine is excited to serve as the Maidu/Excelsior PTC President for a second year. She finds PTC service a great way to see parents, teachers, and administrators working together to make our schools real learning communities. Elaine has been a Maidu VP for 2 years, Excelsior "Band Mom", science docent, and watercolor docent, and Maidu science docent, as well as a classroom parent helper. She served on the Long Term Planning committee for the Eureka Union Schools District last year. She enjoys watercolor painting, swimming, tennis, traveling, and reading.	791-6441	eharndt@surewest.net

	Gina Black After one year of Scrip and another year of Teacher & Staff Appreciation, Gina joined the PTC Board last year as Co-VP of Maidu. Gina has a wonderful husband Joe and three awesome kids: Claudia is a 5th Grader at Excelsior, Caden is a 4th grader at Excelsior, and Kendall is a 2nd Grader at Maidu. 	Jessica Rafanan This is Jessica's first year on the PTC Board. She is new to Northern California, having recently moved here from Virginia with her husband and children. Both her daughters attend Maidu: one is a 1st grader, and the other is in the STAR PreK program. Jessica has been impressed by the dedication of the teachers as well as the enthusiasm of Maidu and Excelsior parents. 	Greg Martin Greg has two boys: Neil, an 8th grader at Olympus, and Grant, a 4th grader at Excelsior. He has been a 5th grade science docent, a 2nd grade science docent, 2nd grade science docent coordinator, and a weekly volunteer in his sons classes at Maidu and Excelsior.	786-7861	ciss8@yahoo.com
Secretary
	Tami Lynch This is Tami's first year on the PTC Board, but she has coordinated Wed folders, Picture Day, eNews and various other programs at Maidu over the past 4 years. This year, Tami continues to coordinate eNews and Excelsior Picture Days and oversee all the various PTC volunteer opportunities. She works part time as a human resource consultant for a wonderful firm in Rocklin which allows her the flexibility to be a single mom AND serve on the PTC Board. Tami has one daughter in 4th grade, Madelyn Ackler. Being part of the PTC is important to Tami because she can be involved in school activities without “bugging” her daughter in the classroom, get to know the teachers and parents and hopefully enhance her daughter’s educational experience during the early years of her life – plus, it’s just downright FUN FUN FUN!	396-7823	tamicam@surewest.net
Excelsior Administrative Representative (Excelsior Principal)
	Diane Duncan Diane has been the principal of Excelsior Elementary School since the fall of 2000. Prior to coming to Excelsior, she worked as a vice principal in the Dry Creek School District, as an administrator for a charter school company, and as the coordinator for the Placer County Office of Education Independent Study program. She has also taught grades 5-8, as well as adult school. She loves the collaborative spirit of the Eureka School District and thoroughly enjoys working with the students, staff, and parents at Excelsior School.
